Graduate assistantship in Community Ecology
One M.Sc. graduate research assistantship in community ecology is available at the Université de Moncton, Canada. We are looking for a student interested in working on the ecology of saproxylic beetles in a multi-investigator field study. Portions of this project will be conducted in Northern New Brunswick. Qualifications: B.S. in entomology, biology, ecology, or a related discipline; being able to speak and write in French and English (all mandatory courses are given in French). The position starts the summer of 2011 and is open until a suitable candidate is found. The successful applicant will be funded for at least two years. Offre de maîtrise en écologie des communautés
Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) candidat(e) à la maîtrise en écologie des communautés à l’Université de Moncton, Canada. Le sujet des travaux sera l’écologie des coléoptères saproxyliques en milieu forestier. Une partie du projet sera réalisée dans le nord du Nouveau-Brunswick. Les qualifications requises sont (1) un baccalauréat en entomologie, biologie, écologie, ou discipline connexe et (2) la capacité d’écrire et parler le français et l’anglais. La position débute à l’été 2011et demeurera ouverte jusqu’à ce quelle soit comblée. Le(la) candidat(e) sélectionné(e) sera subventionné(e) pour une période minimale de deux années.
