Wageningen University offers an MSc specialisation in Dairy Science and Technology. It is a 2 year MSc specialisation in English for students with a BSc in food or life sciences.
Students need to have a basic knowledge in dairy science and dairy processing when they want to apply for one of these specializations. The specialization focuses on the dairy production chain, from primary production to technology and the consumer. Fellowships are available to study Dairy Science and Technology in Wageningen.

- Variability in milk composition throughout the chain
- Causes of variability in milk composition
- Changes in composition during processing
- Milk composition and human health
- The valorization of variability focused on (future) consumers demands
Enrolment in an MSc Programme at Wageningen University requires:
- A BSc degree (or equivalent) in a field of science relevant to your selected programme
- A Grade Point Average (GPA) for this BSc of at least 70% of the maximum grade
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken (550 points in paper-based TOEFL, 83 in internetbased TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS-test)
For the MSc specialisation Dairy Science and Technology you should select the MFT (MSc Food Technology) programme when applying at Wageningen University. Upon arrival in Wageningen, you can register for the MSc specialisation Dairy Science and Technology. Wageningen University has formed a fellowship fund to stimulate students to enter the MSc specialisation Dairy Science and Technology at Wageningen University.
Conditions for a Dairy Science and Technology fellowship are:
- Approved admission to Wageningen University for the MSc Food Technology
- Women are encouraged to apply
- Applicants are preferably under the age of 30
- Working experience is not a prerequisite
Additional information:
- A Dairy Science and Technology fellowship comprises € 10.000 per student per year
- A board of 4 independent scholars will assign the fellowships
- Deadline for scholarship application is May 1st
- Deadline for the scholarship allocation is June 1st

Currently I’m working in national veterinary Institute as A laboratory technologist having more than five years Experience. Now I found very important to pursue my further education. And as everybody can understand there is a need to equip oneself with the necessary input costs to pursue the education but unfortunately it is a self explainable that I am from Ethiopia and cannot offer the necessary costs to pursue the education and therefore I am looking for scholarship.
