Post doctorate Fellow (PDF) in Safety and Risk Engineering Group at Memorial University, Canada Memorial University of Newfoundland Process Engineering Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science Position Title: Post doctorate Fellow (PDF) A Postdoctoral Fellow Position (PDF) is available in Safety and Risk Engineering Group at Memorial University. The PDF is expected to work on the safety in process design models and fault diagnosis methods and tools. He/She is expected to work on expert system development for safety and risk management in process facility and is also expected to look after the project management aspect of the research progress. The PDF must work well in a team environment and must have demonstrated the ability to work independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The initial appointment is for one year (start at the beginning of August, 2011), and it is extended on mutual consent and performance for subsequent year. The salary is between $37,000 to $40,000 per year (12 months) depending on qualification and availability of budget.
