Employer: The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) Level: Master’s and PhD Scholarship Description: The Africa Initiative’s (AI) graduate research grant program supports short-term academic placements for Master’s and PhD students enrolled in select African universities* undertaking research on Africa on one or more of the program’s thematic areas—conflict resolution, energy, food security, health, and migration, with special attention to the cross-cutting issue of climate change.The grant is announced : -To build capacity by giving bright, highly-motivated students an opportunity to discoverand impart new learning in a cross-cultural experience. -To support research by scholars in Africa and Canada on critically important areas to the continent. Email Undergraduate Scholarship for International and Malasian students who wish to study at University of Canterbury, New Zealand Study Subject: Any Employer: University of Canterbury Level: Undergraduate Scholarship Description: This scholarship was established in 2010 from donations received from alumni living in Malaysia. Major donors to this scholarship are the Oh family in Kuala Lumpur and Christchurch, and the Sibu and Kuching alumni chapters. The major donors’ intent was to help setup a scholarship that recognises the past education links between Malaysia and New Zealand under the Colombo Plan which saw a number of Malaysians being given the opportunity to study at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand.
