For Bachelor Degree Programme

Tuition waiver and/or monthly stipend of up to NT$21,000 (US$700).

For Masters Programme

Eligibility Criteria for NCTU TAIWAN

  • Applicants must be International Students from other countries besides Taiwan.
  • Also, applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Applicants may not hold more than one scholarship at the same time.
  • Additionally, applicants must fill out the application form accurately, honestly, and completely, and submit all needed application materials.
  • Students with a high school diploma may apply for Bachelor’s Degree programmes.
  • Also, applicants having a bachelor’s degree or above are eligible to apply for Master’s Degree programmes.
  • Applicants having a master’s degree may apply for Ph.D./Doctoral Degree programmes.

Following is the list of required documents for NCTU Scholarships 2022.

  • Application Form Online.
  • The highest degree diploma, authenticated by government stamps.
  • The highest level Transcript.
  • two letters of recommendation.
  • Passport.
  • Plan of study: The study schedule can be written in either English or Chinese.
  • Also, Certificate of English Proficiency: If the prior degree consisted entirely of English-taught courses, candidates may request that the university/department/adviser provide an official declaration stating that “the medium of instruction at this institute is English.”
  • Theses or related articles from academia (for Ph.D. programme applicants).
